My name is Morten Riis and I am behind Vadehavets Oplevelser – created out of great respect for the Wadden Sea and what nature can give us when we take the time to experience it with all our senses.

The Wadden Sea is something very special. Here you will find peace, open landscapes, and those small moments that leave an impression. It is precisely these experiences that we wish to pass on through tours and stays at the salt marsh farm Højergård or at the yard farm Nørre Sødam, where nature, food, and culture go hand in hand in authentic surroundings.

We place emphasis on presence, quality, and great experiences. Many of our guests return, and satisfaction surveys show that our experiences and service often exceed expectations. This is a commitment that motivates us to continue developing unique and atmospheric experiences in the Tøndermarsken.

Safety is a natural part of the experience. We are members of the Travel Guarantee Fund, and all our guides are trained in first aid. Furthermore, our local guides have an in-depth knowledge of the area's specific wind and weather conditions, so you can feel safe before, during, and after your trip.
